Welcome to a new issue of MillennialEYE, and my and Gary’s first as Chief Medical Editors—a role I am excited to embrace. I love working with the next generation of ophthalmologists because of the potential for what they will bring to the field. One of my most fulfilling roles is clinically and surgically training the residents at Baylor. The field of ophthalmology is constantly changing, and the young generation is the future!

In that vein, ME Live is a great meeting place for like-minded people who are interested in advancing the field of ophthalmology. It is also a great avenue for discussing new technologies and an excellent place to connect with friends and colleagues.
