For the Future Leaders in Ophthalmology

In March, BMC hosted the 7th MillennialEYE Live in Austin—this year, powered by YoungMD Connect. Individuals of all ages and levels of experience convened for a weekend of dynamic education, professional development, surgical skills training, mentorship, and networking. With Program Chairs Zaina Al-Mohtaseb, MD; Blake K. Williamson, MD, MPH; Arsham Sheybani, MD; and Christina Weng, MD, MBA, at the helm, ME Live was a carefully curated meeting designed for the future leaders in ophthalmology—and those future leaders delivered.

At the core of MillennialEYE and ME Live is the belief that education is a two-way street. We recognize that not only do mentees learn from their mentors, but also mentors learn from their mentees. In Austin, aspiring and young ophthalmologists brought energy, passion, and curiosity to each component of the meeting, enhancing the education and experience for all. As you will see in this Spotlight on ME Live 2022, there was no shortage of highlights from the weekend. We hope that you enjoy reliving the magic and that you’ll join us March 24–26 in Austin for #MELive2023.
